Do you have to have an email address for a new customer? 


When adding a new customer to One4Later, their account needs to be linked to an email address.  Each customer must have a unique email address





Can you cancel an offer once it has been redeemed in POS? 


(For example, a staff member selects the wrong customer and clicks the redeem button.)


No, if a staff member has redeemed an offer against the wrong customer we currently can’t cancel it.  To correct this we would recommend creating a one-off Get X offer for the customer whose account was incorrectly used.





What happens if you type the wrong code to charge a tab, but it charges anyway?  


(For example, you have two different tabs and the codes are similar, eg. Sarah S and Sara S. Staff want to charge Sarah S, but they type Sara S and the wrong account is charged.)


You have two options. 1. Leave the sale as it is in Lightspeed and transfer it to the correct person in One4Later via Transactions | Options | Transfer.  2. Refund the sale in Lightspeed using One4Later as the payment type and process it again against the correct customer.





Can you refund an offer? 


You can reverse a sale in One4Later via System - Transactions - Options. Or you could refund a sale in Lightspeed.




How do you process a refund to a tab?


Select the transaction in Lightspeed and select Refund.  If a sale has been paid using One4Later the refund will automatically refund to One4Later. When a transaction needs to be refunded from Lightspeed to One4Later, the balance will be refunded back to the card that was used for the original order. 





How do you top-up a tab in One4Later? 


The option to Top-Up a Tab can be made either when an existing Tab has reached the limit or if the customer wants to add funds at anytime. This action would be most likely used for Events/Functions.  You can top up a card in One4Later by selecting the card then Top Up, or from Lightspeed select Menu - Add Ons - Gift Cards - One4Later enter the card number and select Add Funds.





How do you check the balance of a gift voucher or a tab in POS? 


Keep track of your customers current Gift Vouchers and Tabs by checking the balance in your POS via Menu - Add Ons - Gift Cards - One4Later, enter the card number and select Check Balance.





How do you add funds to a gift voucher or tab in POS?


Keep track of your customers current Gift Vouchers and Tabs by adding funds in your POS. You can top up a card in One4Later by selecting the card then Top Up, or from Lightspeed select Menu - Add Ons - Gift Cards - One4Later enter the card number and select Add Funds. 





Why is the offer not being redeemed in POS? 


When using offers in your POS system, you might come across an offer that is unable to be redeemed.  The most common cause is the order may not contain any products the offer is linked to.




How do I check the takings on POS?


The takings section allows you to view the total payments made through One4Later for the day.  Select Menu - Takings - this will show you the total transaction amount processed by each payment type during the day.  One4Later will automatically populate with the total processed using this payment type.
