Gift-It Vouchers

Gift-It is a third party add on to Kounta.  It allows you to process gift vouchers within Kounta and also see vouchers on your website.

These steps show you how to process a new voucher purchase.

1. Log in to the Gift-It website (www.gift-it.com.au. On the Gift it website you can manually create vouchers and check the current balance. You can set your own reference code or have the system generate a unique code. The customer will receive an email with a pdf attachment of their voucher.
   
2. In Kounta, enable the Gift-It add on via the back office.
3. You will now get a new payment type called Gift-It that is used when redeeming a voucher.
   
4. You will be prompted for the reference code of the voucher.
   
5. Once entered and confirmed you will get a confirmation that the payment has been confirmed.
   
6. From the POS you can go to Menu -> Add Ons -> Gift-It to check the customers’ balance or top up an existing card.
   
   

Gift-It Vouchers

Gift-It is a third party add on to Lightspeed.  It allows you to process gift vouchers within Lightspeed and also see vouchers on your website.

These steps show you how to process a new voucher purchase.

1. Activate the Gift-It add on by logging into the Lightspeed back office, select Integrations, Gift-It then click Enable.
     
2. You will then be directed to create a Gift-It account as well as a stripe account to process payments.
3. Once this is setup you will be have a link to place on your website to allow customers to purchase vouchers online.  At any time you can log in to the Gift-It website (www.gift-it.com.au) where you can manually create vouchers, check the current balance of any voucher and resend a voucher to a giftee.  

1. Launch or Sync the Lightspeed POS.  Create a new order and click Check Out. You will now see a new payment type called Gift-It. This is used when redeeming a voucher in-store.
     
2. To redeem a voucher click Check Out -> Gift-It.  You will be prompted to enter the reference code of the voucher, then click Confirm.
     
3. If the number is valid and there is credit available on the voucher you will get a confirmation prompt on the screen.
