You can add an item restriction to selected offers that determines the number of times a discount is applied per order or over a time period.
Offer types where this rule can apply is % off or $ off.
In the example below we have restricted the $ off discount to apply to a maximum of 2 items per order and a total of 10 items per week.
- Navigate to https://app.one4later.com/ Click "Offers"
- Search for your offer to include restrictions. In the example here the $5 off Drinks offer is being used.
- Click the offer to open and edit it.
- If you want to restrict the number of times a discount can be applied per order enter a number in the "Order Limit" section. This can be left blank if there is no order restriction.
- If you want to restrict the number of items over a defined time period (Day / Week / Month) that the discount can be applied, select your "Limit Period" and enter the number of items in the "Limit Amount" field.
- This offer now allows a maximum of 2 items to be discounted on a single order and a total of 10 items discounted over a full week.
(NB: If a product is added to the POS and the Qty value is changed, Lightspeed treats this a one product x Qty and the discount will be applied to the total amount of the item.) - Click "Save"
- From the POS add the items to the order. Click "Add Customer.
- Search for the customer and add them to the order.
- On the customer screen, click "One4Later"
- Against the offer that is to apply, click "Redeem"
- You will see that only two items on the sale are discounted - meeting the rule restriction. Click "Check Out" to complete the sale.
- If the total amount of discounts allowed have been met for a given period a message will appear at the top of the POS screen confirming the limit has been reached.
- Click "Save" to exit from the customer screen and complete the sale as normal.
