Group Ordering

Kounta by Lightspeed has Introduced Group Ordering

What is Group Ordering?  Group ordering allows you to take multiple orders for a table or group, take payments for each individual order but hold off printing any dockets until the last customer pays and then send a single docket for the entire order.  Each order is treated as a separate order but you only have one set of production dockets for all orders.
This is ideal for cafe's that have customers order and pay at the counter before taking a seat.

How does it work?

 1. Click the following link:  https://my.kounta.com/features/groupordering and enable Group Ordering.   Once enabled you will be able to select which registers you want this feature available on or choose All Registers.

2.  Once enabled, you can launch or POS or Sync and existing register and you will now see a button above the Check Out button saying Start Group Order.  Click this to start a new order.

3. Add your first order.  Each order can have a unique customer added. Assign a single table number or ID for the order.
Check out this order as normal.
Once the customer pays a prompt will appear confirming payment and then you can add another order.

4.  At any time you can check all orders to make sure you have everyone's order completed by clicking on View All Orders.

5.  Once all orders are added tap - Finish & Print Group Docket

this will print a single docket for all orders under that group to each printer.
