This article defines the types of offers available in One4Later.
One4later has 9 types of offers.

Buy X items, get Y items free
This is the most used offer within One4Later. It is essentially an electronic loyalty card. You set up the offer where customers must purchase a certain number of selected products before they get a selected number of items for free.
The best example of this would be an electronic coffee card where a customer can purchase 9 coffees before they get one for free. With this type of offer you can select to Auto Assign to all customers and Auto Renew once a customer reaches a target. You can send the customer a notification letting them know when they have reached their target and have a redemption available.
Spend $X , get $Y Credit
Similar to our electronic loyalty card for the number of items purchased, this offer looks at the amount a customer spends over time and rewards them with Store Credit. You set up the card where customers must spend a certain amount and then they are given and amount in store credit to redeem during their next purchase.
This is a great offer to reward customers who come in and spend the most with you. You can restrict which items are included or not included. For example you may want to include everything except coffees if you also have a coffee card setup so the customer isn't 'double dipping'. With this type of offer you can select to Auto Assign to all customers and Auto Renew once a customer reaches their target. You can send the customer a notification letting them know when they have reached their target and have a redemption available.
Get X Free Items
There are a number of scenarios here where you could use this option.
- You have a customer who you have decided to gift a certain item to - this could be that they are being gifted a product from you as a credit.
- A customer has prepaid for one or more products - ie Buy 10 Coffees for $X . The purchase transaction will be completed on the POS and manually assigned to the customer in One4Later.
- A customer wants to gift another customer a product within a category ie a bottle of wine, but they don't know which bottle the giftee will choose so you can setup an offier that applies a set selection of products.
- As part of renewing a club membership, a member may receive a bottle of wine or a free meal as part of their rewards.
Get % off Items
Offer loyal customers a discount off all or selected products. Multiple discount offers can be applied to different products in the same order. Ideal for running a short term promotion as well.
Get $ off Items
Reward customers with a set $ amount off all or selected products. Multiple discount offers can be applied to different products in the same order. Ideal for running a short term promotion as well.
Gift Voucher
You can create a Gift Voucher offer that has a set value. When assigned to a customer they can use this voucher to pay all or part of an order on the POS.
Prepaid Tab
A tab is assigned to a customer that has a set limit. .
Scenarios where you would use a Tab include:
- A customer is hosting an event and wants to open a tab on the bar to a set value.
- A customer can open a Tab for a set value. They can spend the funds on their account but can also top up their account when they reach their limit. Great for regular customers.
Account
An account can be assigned to a customer that allows them to charge orders in arrears. The account can have a maximum credit limit or be set as unlimited. The benefit of using an Account in One4Later is that the sale is closed in Lightspeed when sent to One4Later so accurately shows in your reports when that sale occured. Integration with Xero allows you to create an invoice listing all transactions for that time period to send to the customer.
Scenarios where you would use an account include:
- As a club a member can charge their visits to their account and receive an invoice at the end of the week/month.
- A regular customer can make purchases and place their orders on account to be charged separtely.
Royalties
If you run a franchise group, One4Later makes calculating weekly royalites a breeze. Setup one or more offers to calculate the commission %'s on all sales. This also allows you to exclude products from the calculations.
